    M1 Garand

    Hi Guys,

I am having issues with my M1, which I recently inherited and would like to have someone with more experience help me understand the problems and I can then diagnose. The rifle is in excellent condition cosmetically. The action of the rifle has increasingly gotten worse. initially have a problem chambering the rounds and now after about 40 rds will not eject and must be hand operated each time to fire like a bolt action... I am now aware that the no GI spec ammo I was originally using might have been an issue but now that I have switched to using Greek GI spec 30-06 still no luck. Any help or referred M1 shops are appreciated.

    Thank you,

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
