There pretty good. Just dont let them push you into buying what THEY like. Or feel bad when they say things like " peipke get that cuz its cool". theyre opinionated and a fun bunch of guys

I could care less about brand as long as it is a reputable manufacturer. What I do care about is fitment. I have a Vltor upper that I wanted to mate with a Spikes lower but it was too loosey goosey. Went with a mega forged lower and was a perfect fit. Not one ouce of movement.

My vote, Spike Tactical and YHM makes some great lover receivers at a modest price...

I have been looking at this one. It is billit and under $200

If I had to describe myself in one word it would be "bad at following directions"

I'm sure Addax is great if it's in stock.

Riflegear looks pretty ransacked. Still have NFA LW-15 @ $110, but slim pickings unless you want a 9mm (or the below mentioned Mega).

              Edit:
But, that ADDAX is a 6061-T6 and not going to be as tough or wear resistant as a much less expensive 7075-T6 forged lower. (Pretty much all forged lowers are 7075 and even if they lie about the heat treatment its still going to be better than 6061.)

Just popped by the Ammo Bros in Cerritos. Lots of forged lowers under 200 but no billets. Their $100 Defcon re-branded DFI isn't bad looking. Use the extra $80 bucks for a better trigger!

I think the Mega forged lower at Riflegear eight now is one of the best deals out there ...

All the lower receiver does is hold parts in place. Get the cheapest you can and be done with it. Provided it is by somebody who is reputable, it will hold up as well as any other lower. Aero Precision ones are usually the least expensive ones I can find. YMMV.

Get the Mega. I find the finish better than most, it has the adjustment screw under the grip AND you can build a matching upper with one of their upper receivers.
