I just picked up a OLL and I thought I could keep it in my safe that locks with a key, so on the DROS form it says Safe Affidavit. I know no that this kind of safe doesn't count as a gun safe. What do I have to do before picking up my OLL in 10 days? Can I buy a trigger lock, or do I have to do more?

Walmart has CA approved locks for $5. Bring the receipt when you go in for the pickup; if you are paranoid, bring the lock as well.

A gun lock receipt from the last 30 days of your pickup is required or they should make you purchase one then.FB BRD Fan Page

WTF is a "lock/safe affidavit." ?
CA so messed up that you have to buy a lock for a rifle?
I just toss mine on my passenger seat, then hang it above the fire place when I get home...lol...Originally posted by Pvt. CowboyAt best, many vendors at the show typically see Californians as the drooling kid wearing a crash helmet riding in the back of the short bus- not least that you don't have any gun show money because your retarded steroid-shooting governor can't pay your state income tax refund because they spent it all on the illegal Mexicans who broke into your house while you're away at the gun show. To them, you're just a plain old sappy idiot, and probably a lib'rul who smokes salvia while driving.Comment
