    OLL and firearm safe

I just picked up a OLL and I thought I could keep it in my safe that locks with a key, so on the DROS form it says Safe Affidavit. I know no that this kind of safe doesn't count as a gun safe. What do I have to do before picking up my OLL in 10 days? Can I buy a trigger lock, or do I have to do more?

If it's just a lower I don't thimk you need anything. But you can buy a cheap gun lock at Big 5 for 4-5 bucks.

You still need locks for bare lowers. I know, I just picked up some CMMGs today.

Walmart has CA approved locks for $5. Bring the receipt when you go in for the pickup; if you are paranoid, bring the lock as well.

The lower is the firearm and thus requiring a lock/safe affidavit.

A gun lock receipt from the last 30 days of your pickup is required or they should make you purchase one then.

            WTF is a "lock/safe affidavit." ?

CA so messed up that you have to buy a lock for a rifle?

I just toss mine on my passenger seat, then hang it above the fire place when I get home...lol...
