Spikes Battle Trigger Question...

I just received mine from Joebobs today, and it doesn't look quite like the picture. Most pictures display it at as silver in color, almost shiny, but mine is gun metal, almost matte. Is that normal?

I'd imagine the Nickel BCG is coated in the same way the trigger is, however this does not resemble the appearance of the BCG displayed online at all.

Packing grease still on it giving it a dull appearance.
I wiped mine down and lubed before installing. Looks semi shiny like all nickel boron I have seen.

normal. a good purchase, too -- the spike's trigger is under the radar and underrated.

Yea, I've read a ton of great reviews, and my rifle is a complete spikes, so I had to do it. haha

Yep, I ordered those as well...also got the joebob trigger adjuster.

Mine is a pretty dark gun metal grey, the hammer and internal parts seems to slowly turn black also (and yes i do clean the build up off). I didn't buy it for the color so its not a big deal to me

Ok cool, glad Im not the only one. I didnt buy it for looks either, but when it didnt quite look as pictured, I wondered.

You dont want a bright silver trigger when you go into COMBAT.
