Still doesn't change the fact that a resident of Nevada wouldn't be able to get the floor plate anyway. They will tell you to buy a new mag.

Try and find followers for a PMag for sale anywhere. The only way it seems is when someone parts out the mags.

Just thought of something that might help the op. You could buy Ranger plates and grind off the pull tabs with a dremel.

I accept Magpuls stance on this. I don't like it, but I accept it.

Just sad to know that no matter what, they will not back their product warranty simply because we live in a "ban state."

Thanks for all the input. Just wanted fellow Calgunners to know what I have experienced.

What? A regular floor plate, yeah. Probably aren't going to find those anywhere. Followers though? Those are everywhere.

The OP is looking for the floorplate locks; not the floor plates themselves.

Not Magpul followers for USGI mags. Magpul followers for Pmags, they're not available.

If the guy needs the locking plate, just buy the mag limiters and clip them off. Or just buy a new mag. Seriously, this isn't that hard.

exhile is tough to deal with.

I wanted to buy some pistol mags. they were 25$ each at PSA, he was charging 30$.
he wouldnt budge even if I ordered 150$ worth of mags from him.

I asked if he would give any deal on shipping he said ya if you order 300$ or more otherwise its $7.62 and get a free key ring flashlight.

                I went with MissionMTMan http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=312622

he bought the mags from PSA and only charged 2.5$ on top of each

I think you don't understand what "tough to deal with" means. Simply because he wouldn't lower his pricing for you doesn't mean he's "tough to deal with", it simply means his pricing is not flexible. As the consumer, you have the option to shop elsewhere. For the rest of us, we know that Exile is a stand up company/person.

You can get PMAG rebuilds shipped for like $11.00. Look up Exilemachine or Google it.

They sent me a part when one of the bottom plastic parts in one of my pmags broke.

Nothing but great transactions with Exile. Can't believe that deserved a "tough to deal with" rating...silly

Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...

I usually get my PMAGS from Exile. They are great and the pricing is good. Just don't need anything at the moment. Will be getting my locking floor plates from Magblock. Other than that, waiting for Black Friday to come before I make any purchasing decisions.

Thanks again to everyone for the input ans suggestions.

We in CA are the bastard children of the industry. This coupled with CS reps that don't understand our complicated laws makes it so much more complicated.

I'd say a trip to your local Turner's is in order.
