Nikon Buckmasters Rifle Scope 3-9X50 Matte BDC 6482

Hello,

I am looking for a new relativly inexpensive rifle scope for my 7mm deer rifle. I normally fire 150gr loads when deer, bear, or hog hunting. I came across the Nikon Buckmasters rifle scope. Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this brand. I have had only good experiences with nikon but I cannot find very many reviews for this scope thanks.

I bought the 6-18 X40 Buckmaster for my LR308 and love it. If ordered with MidwayUSA or BassPro Shop ( I can't remember which one) they have the mil-dot in lieu of BDC.

I've got 4 Buckmasters and 2 Prostaffs and I highly recommend any scope made by Nikon. They're durable, very clear, relatively inexpensive, and the BDC feature is awesome.

I've got the 3x9x40 BDC in matte. Although mines still pretty new, all the ones in my family have held up just fine shooting magnum loads an heavy field use. I'm only looking to sell because I want a higher magnification.

The Buckmaster is their "mainstream" priced product line and pretty decent. It sits between their entry level ProStaff and premium Monarch product lines.

I'm just not sure why you'd want a 50mm objective because it's going to be big and heavy and sit way high. Other options in the same class would be a Weaver V10 2-10x38 or a Bushnell Legend 3-9x40. A premium scope like a Weaver Grand Slam 3-9x40 would be a nice step up from all three and is on sale.
