Would it be legal if took off the flash hider and pistol grip?

Nope, It's belt fed. That is a no no in Ca.

The VZ2000 rifle kit is interesting.

      M240

You would have to remove the pistol grip and go with a spade set up like the M60D, or the M2HB.

i belive the flash hider needs to come off.

          Yes, I am wrong.

I just checked the law. I knew there was something about belt fed devices. It is considered a detachable mag so no more than 10 rounds.

So this would have to be a feature-less build...correct?

How so? If you keep the belts to 10 round your should be fine as long as you remove the pistolgrip and flash hider. But I think you can just add spade grips to replace the pistol grip and your fine...

Belts are okay as long as you don't link up more then 10 rounds, or you owned a linked belt of more then 10 rounds before the high cap ban and you never let it get to just 10 rounds or below....

I'm sure someone will come along with more indepth info then I can provide though... I've never owned or fired anything belt fed

Good luck coming up with a fixed-belt build.

its got a grip under the action so it would be illegal. unless you hack the grip off. the grip and trigger guard is one piece so you would be screwing it up a little

Hell for that amount of money I would buy one of the "toys" I was checking out at Impact with the happy switch. Or even better get a 870MCS for my AR for a lot less money
