My local range has an AK with 30 round mag and no mag lock. They told me that have a permit/paperwork for suck a setup. I only asked them about it because I wanted to know how so I do the same. They were all smiles telling me its a range only rental gun and that it wasn't for sale. What a tease!

For someone wishing to quote Orwell in his Sig, you should know his primary message and concern was the threat of out of control government; whether it's brown shirts kicking in the door of a German Jew, or a masked BATF entry team kicking in yours, it makes no difference to the targets of immoral violence and government oppression, no matter what the current laws read. BTW, your Sig "quote" is not Orwell, but if it was, it would be a policy of his "1984's Ministry of Truth", not his own personal beliefs.

LEO enforcement is based upon local enforcement priorities and policies, not the "laws of the land", which by the way, is from the Magna Carta:

The law of the land legal concept includes not only current written law statutes and decisions, but also Common Law, which is where our republican and constitutional ideas are based.

That's makes one quote and one legal term that you have misused in a single post, in order to softly support statism over individual freedom. Thanfully, our lawful citizen's freedoms to bear arms do not rest upon the logical conclusions of your misguided beliefs.
