M193/XM193 will be non-magnetic. Plenty of Cali-friendly sources for it.

              The Prvi/PPU 62gr is a nice brass-cased, non-magnetic .223; I use it in my Mini and it's a nice, clean round that's heavier than the XM193. There's also the Hornady Steel Match in 55gr and 75gr; steel-cased but non-magnetic, around $20 per 50.

Walmart has American Eagle 55gr. XM193 ammo for $6.97/20 rd box. You usually have to grab it at 9:30pm or about 7am as is goes fast.

Because op is looking for non magnetic rounds. M855 have a steel core which attracts a magnet.

Monrovia or Glendora... bought some there just a few days ago, they were stocked pretty deep.

They even had the cheap Wolf 5.56; steel case... I don't like to run that stuff tho. The other poster was correct, Fed AA is 6.97 for 20 rds.
