I would if I had the change and I would fire the hell out if it too. Real Russian SVDs full length with all original accessories in OG wooden crate goes for close to 10k. Chinese NDM tigers go for anywhere between 3k for a motivated seller and 5k for patient ones. A real full length SVD or a nice clean NDM is defiantly on my bucket list. I have a nice motorcycle to trade if your seller is interested.

Russian SVD: $6000 - $18,000 depending on condition and accessories.

Chinese NDM-86: $2800 - $5000 if in 7.62x54R and $2800 - $4500 if 7.62x51. Add premium if KFS imported Deluxe model in red velvet case


A Russian and ONLY a Russian SVD in the US is worth both "kidneys and a testicle". The Chinese Dragunov is every bit as accurate as the Russian one but....as we all know. The chinese cut immense corners to achieve the same benchmarks. I wouldn't trust my life with Chinese manufactured firearms, but seeing as I've never owned one, It's not my place to say.

The NDM even has identical tool marks to a SVD.
There is a long standing rumor that the NDM models were actually built in Russia for China

The NDM is a beautiful rifle. I WISH I bought one in the early 90s for $~1000. The sad thing is, it's more in reach now at $5k than it was then at $1K.
