ETP, Stag TDP Too Tight Too Loose? Help

Put a new Double Star Lower together sat, with a stag LPK, Bought a ETP from CWS's sat morning at the Del Mar Gun show, The build went great short of one detent spring being shot across the room..Found it though. any way got finished and threw my other OLL's upper on it to check for function and the ETP i bought was WAY too tight, and the Stag LPK pin was REALLY loose, I want the ETP to work, do i file out the lower? or try to possibly sand off some blueing on the ETP? Thanx in advance.........Matt

The pin should wear down and become easier to use over time. Personally I like the pins to be really tight as a rifle that rattles is just wrong.
