    saiga conversion question

i am in the process of converting my saiga.
i will be using a mag lock (RADDLOCK) to be compliant with adding a pistol grip.
does anyone know if by adding my mag lock i can use both a pistol grip AND a forward grip (ak "tommy gun" style grip)
or is that one too many "evil features"?

i"m talking about this style forward grip:

You can add as many "evil" features as you like on a fixed magazine rifle.
Someone may want to chime in, does 922(r) compliancy issues apply to Saigas since it's an imported rifle?

How do you plan to add the mag lock?

Well, if he is doing the conversion, I assume he is going to remove the Saiga lower trigger guard and rivet on a normal AK trigger guard, at which point the mag lock should go on like any other AK. Then he can proceed to finish the rest of the conversion in perfect legal fashion.

i'm doing a full conversion to a more "conventional" ak style rifle.
being a saiga, i have to move my FCG forward.
i have american made furniture (handgaurds, pistol grip, and buttstock).
            installing a tapco g2 FCG
            and a RADDLOCK bullet button.
total of 6 switched out american parts. if memory recalls, i should be 922r compliant.
also looking into pro mag 10/30 mags.

may eventually get an american made gas piston too...
