    Lower receiver finish

I was at my local shop today looking at stripped lower receivers for my next ar build. They didnt have a very good selection, just a DTI and a LAR. I noticed that the LAR had a glossier finish and the DTI had much more of a matte finish. If its all mil-spec why the big difference?

Either way I will probably spend a few extra bucks on a stag when they get more later this week.

Did you check ammo bros. Even turners has lowers.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

I don't believe "mil-spec" pertains to the final glossiness of the finish.

Remember... most soldiers weapons have no anodizing left on them... :P
