    What does NM mean?

    Saw on some lower parts kit 2stage trigger it says "NM"...what does that mean?

        Keep in mind that the words "National Match" when applied to AR parts are fictitious. There has NEVER been a NM standard for the AR15/M16 rifle like there was for the 1903 or M1 Garand. Those rifle and their parts were actually marked NM from the armory where they were made.

        It's just a hook to sell parts for the AR15.

          For trigger purposes, it would derive from the USGI NM drawings for the M1/M14 (and the current CMP/NRA highpower rules). 4.5lb draw, crisp break and repeatable.
