Well my build was going to start today by putting a lower in jail, couple of speed bumps put me off track.
Earlier this week I called Oaktree and they said $100 + tax and dros. I get there and walk into the shotgun area shop, the employee confirms the $100 price but says to check out the handgun area shop for a bigger selection. We get there and the sales gun confirms the price again so I tell him ill take it. The guy goes to the back and comes out and says sorry it's $130, manager comes in and says he won't do it for $100. He calls the shotgun area shop and they confirm they told me $100 and he still refused to honor the $100. Then he tells me to come in on blackfriday and he will have it for $80. The guys at Oaktree are always cool, I didn't argue with them and kindly made the final offer if they will honor the price, he said No so I walked away.
I call addax and they have a Mega Lower in stock for $130. On the way there my cousin says he wants an AR, so he ended up putting the Mega lower in jail and I have the honor of doing my first build at his expense.
I think I might just wait for that $80 blackfriday deal.
