Well I finally decided to buy a stripped lower and build up my first AR. I went to my semi-local gs to buy a jd machine lower. While I was in there I looked at the wall and saw a couple of Colt le6920cmp-b the colt moe. The silly sales person pulled one of the shelf and let me play with it, and walk around with it, and play with it some more. I had to put it back and ponder my choices....

I came up with the best/worst option. I finangled a deal and bought the Colt and the stripped lower. Discount prices and one dros fee. Oops I only spent 10x what I was expecting : )

Now I have 9 more days.

You'll love the 6920. Maybe even so much that you'll forget about the lower. I guess Colts are starting to reappear again?

Upgrades, let alone a stripped lower that I should get a different caliber upper for. No since having two .223 carbine uppers, so either get a more target specific upper or change to a different caliber.... Oh the decisions begin and the need to work overtime to pay for those decisions.
