Try looking what Direct Action Solutions has in stock. I have nothing to do with the company but I think they have awesome service and the guys that work there are very helpful. Weather you are just kicking tires or are ready to pull the trigger on something, they will be very helpful.
I'm sure other local places are just as good. I've just had good experiences with DAS.

I got my NF lower from Parallax and have been very satisfied with it. I'm ready to build a lower and am willing to spend money where it counts (trigger) and save money on the receiver.

Pretty much.. They go one sale all the time.. Rifle gear has their lowers on sale almost every other month.. So it's not like its a rare thing.. Just call and ask shop guys might know and just keep an eye out.

That is nice, my FFL does the same exact thing. I always thought it was funny that you needed a lock for a stripped receiver.

Does anybody have any opinion on ATI lowers? They're going for $99 round these parts. Picked one up last week..(10 day jail) I know the poly ones are super cheap but the alum units looked marginal. (yet in my budget)

got my spikes at parallax for $120. the JD was like 105 at bigshot but everyone was saying the finish was better on spikes. Also spikes has the cool double dongs... I mean spider.

Out the door it was like $150 after dros and tax.

+1 on JD, I went to their shop today to pick up a rifle they transferred for me and their lowers all look top notch, if you can catch them on a sale, then they're the best in town.
