I'm seeing some well priced "post-64" Winchesters and Marlins that are chambered for 38-55, that were bored from 30-30. I think I would like that cartridge but can't afford the older ones made for it. My main question is, do these rebores have accuracy issues? And do they have safety issues? I'll be reloading for it so I need to know if there are pressure issues due to the removal (even slight removal) of material.
