CHARGING HANDLES??

You can make your own GasBuster by modding your existing CH. Just apply some silicone seal. Be sure to put some release agent on the Upper receiver first. With the CH in the closed position lay down a bead of silicone in the joint where the CH meets the Upper.
Once dry it should release from the Upper, clean it up and there you go.

this. get any* charging handle you want and do the RTV trick. it reportedly does the job better than the gasbuster charging handles.

clear shoe polish (labeled "neutral," i believe) makes a perfectly good release agent for this purpose. and yes, RTV comes in black as well.

*ETA: i make no guarantee that this method will work with every charging handle mechanism. but it works on mil-spec models, and it should work with the vast majority of variants.
