Help me choose a spotting Scope Konus 20x60-80 or 20x60-100

    Hi

My girl bought me a konus with the 100mm objective. And I'm wondering if the 80 would be better.

Less bulk, and weight and lighter tripod on the 80 plus side

More lighter, better vision on 60 power

    thanks in advance

Stay with the 100mm objective. Better prisms than the 80 and is also waterproof (if it's a new model). Much clearer at higher powers, too.

Do you happen to know how much that cost her, op? I've been looking at the 80 objective because it's at a nice price point and it is bigger than the 60mm one by another brand that I liked as well.

Spend the extra few hundred and get the 82mm Kowa instead.

The 100mm is around 325-ish the 80mm is around 225-ish

they both get amazing reviews, and everyone agree's best spotter for the buck
