I went in to the Concord Big 5 and saw a couple BB AR15's on display.
Price was obviously high, but it's nice to see the times a changin.

Saw one in my local Big 5 also, but I think $1200 for a basic is steep lol. -
Been a long long time coming! I've been bugging the crap out of the local Big 5 here to get them in for years. They sell the .223/5.56 ammo for the AR but hardly stock anything that can shoot that ammo.Originally posted by aklon

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised to see real AR's when I was at big 5 last week.The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

With Big5 selling AKs (IO CASAR) and now ARs in CA this means total win.
This will bring us another 150K ARs easily.
This also means SB248-style laws have even larger cost consequences.

Teo brands, one was Windham weaponry, the other was ATI.
The Windham had a basic plastic handguard, railed gas block, standard m4 collapsing stock and one 10 round mag. This was 999. The sign said the barrel was chrome lined.
The ATI M4 had a vtac free float tube, low profile gas block, standard m4 collapsing stock, and the label said the barrel was made by FN. this was 1199.Comment
