I don't think you could go wrong with either. The flat bow is probably a preference thing, but you really can't go wrong with either in my opinion. If you can find someone with a flat trigger to let you try it out, that would be best. It took me a while to decide what trigger I wanted to put in my new build, and the SSA-E was one of the first triggers that I considered.

Pulled the thought right out of my brain haha. In all likelihood, it will be an SD-E on my new rifle, it looks appealing to me and I really want to try something new haha

I just put a SD-E on my REPR and took it out to the range for the first time today. For me flat is the way to go, much more positive feel during rapid fire no matter where your finger is positioned.
Never follow the advice of Calguns Addicts,
They clearly don't know what they are talking about.

If you are going 18"... get an SPR barrel profile or similar.

1:8 twist stainless rifle length gas system.

Rainier Arms UltraMatch made from a Shilien blank would be my first pick.

Black Hole Weaponry also makes a fantastic 18" 416 Stainless poly rifled if you are looking for something a little more price conscious.

Something about flat makes me never want to go back... I love my SD-C. All my 1911's also carry flat triggers.

And +1 on a WOA barrel. Remember, they can bead blast (what I did with my 18" barrel) or parkerize it. You name it, WOA will do it.

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

That pic makes me glad I just ordered a Troy Alpha handguard

Just curious why you recommend rifle length over midlength? I was leaning rifle anyways but I always like to hear what everyone has to say. Also, I really liked the look of the Black Hole barrel, its on the list of contenders.

have to say, in addition to the trigger, those alpha rails are pure eye sex lol.
