Great video as usual. I had no idea dirt would/could cause the FCG to bet messed up like that. I guess I just never thought about it. Definitely good to know.Originally posted by GioIt is so nice to drop mags freely even though I do that now with my featureless AR and AK it is not the same as the real thing. Like Coca Cola here in the US compared to Mexico with real sugar not corn syrup!

For educational reasons, it'd be a fun data point for some people; especially for those who make their decisions on which rifle to get base on reliability when some of Earth's elements are involved, like dirt/sand, water etc. Also, I'd rather have MAC perform those tests than any other YouTube firearm/gear reviewer, he seems to be the most genuine and realistic on this topic.Comment

IIRC, during the military test where they tested the m4 vs other rifles, I think they found that a majority of the stoppages of the M4 was due to mag issues. Then again, I assume the military used GI mags instead of pmags.Last edited by JeremyKX; 09-27-2012, 9:38 PM.Comment

You have to take all those tests and said statistics with a grain of salt.. 1 90% of the time ant/proi (add gun type here) guys repeated the story so many times as an argument point the facts get jumbled to all hell...
And 2nd half the time those statistics like the average sniper shot ect aren't even recorded its just some bs made up for some guys article no one can really fully debunk so people believe its true. But yea the GI mags probably had a lot to do with it if it were true or maybe that one rock got in the right spot like the one in macs trigger group.. It could happen all the time or never happen again with someone else in the same conditions.. No 2 tests are exactly the same..
Also being me to another article I read in a mag today about the US military making their own pmag or something like that..? Anyone know anything about that?Comment
