I came across this milspec buffer tube:

Has any one used this before?

It looks pretty good if the diameter is close to tolerance and the material is t7 which is encouraging.

My experience is that anything that has to be advertised as "high quality" to sell probably isn't.
You don't see colt marketing themselves as "high quality" now do you?
