Wasr rust question

In the pic below is the internal of my Wasr. Can anyone tell me if that is rust or laquer residue. I have only shot Golden Tiger from my Wasr and have recently come across some info saying that the though they state the primers are not corrosive they actually are. If it is rust, what should I do?

That's not rust. I think it's the cozmoline.

Stuff comes out of the wood works. Thought the same thing first time I gave mine a decent cleaning.

Brother, thats not rust, but its filthy! Since its a tapco trigger, thats probably not cosmoline.... just a heavy coating of oil, mixed with whatever.

It only takes a few minutes to clean that all up with q-tips. Get on it!

Btw, youtube has a couple of videos on how tear down and re-install that trigger group... something you should learn to do before the zombie apocolypse.

Looks like the red sealant that's around the primer/bullet. I get the same thing when shooting Yugo M67/PMC ammo.

Looks like lube and primer lacquer

Looks like the inside of an AK. Clean it in a few thousand rounds. Besides lube is good, it's not going to stop it.
