    AR-15 carry handle

Well i just received my yankee hill free floats and was thinking about getting a flattop for my upper receiver. Currently i have a carry handle receiver with scope mount but its driving me crazy....is there something wrong with a Leopold 3x9 on a carry handle 20" ar-15? Im thinking of taking it over to randall to see if he can install a flattop and put on the free floats and the barrel on the new flattop upper .

    Wasr-10
    Double Barrel Coach Gun
    Nagant 91/30

I struggled with a similar question... basically its tough to get a good cheek weld up that high, and it looks crazy.

I finallay opted with a flat top upper with thumb screws to remove the scope easily, the fixed a2 front sight and a flip up BUIS. I am really happy with it. I also have the removeable carry handle ( got my bushy 20" at tax time sale), sighted in amd marked on rail, but never use it.

Just dont get a collapsable stock either.

I think that is what route i am going to go also...i need to get a price check from Randall to see if i wanna go through with it or not. There is so much i want to do but the funds i have are limiting me.....im a 19 year old college student.

Heres my plan though...Flattop upper , magpul ptr stock, burris tactical rings, leupold riflemans 3x9x40. Panther grip. Yankee hill free float barrel.

I have everything in that list besides the Magpul and the flattop receiver

I feel your pain bro!!! I am making two match grade ar15 "sniper" rifles and each of them will cost me around 1.5k each! I just bought the lower and flat top upper. Bought two RRA 2 stage trigger and extended latches for the charging handle. I also just ordered two 6.8 spc 20" barrels. One troy 13" FFR and a magpul stock. The other is a ace stock.

I'll help you out on taking apart the barrel and free float and installing the A3-A4 flat top upper if you bring it down or up to Westminster. Its a easy thing to take apart and put together... Last thing you need to do is bring it to a gun shop and ask if they have .223 or whatever cal your gun eats and HS it for ya.
