    Bullet Button?

I'm kind of confused on how it works. If I do install a Bullet Button on a AR build, does that allow me to detatch a 10rd magazine? I know about all the rules for OLL's but I have no clue about the Bullet Button.

    Thanks!

Never mind. I found some info on it.

So you can basically have 10rd detachable magazines correct? Its just that you have to use a small tool to push the button correct?

In everyones opinion, which would be better? A Bullet Button or a MMG build?

    Thanks!

instead of the normal mag release button, that cavity is filled by a piece that doesnt move.

instead, a smaller nut fits inside it, which is screwed to the end of the actual mag release.

so when you insert something into that piece, you essentially are pressing on the mag release.

      and hence the tool usage.

      genius actually...

Our opinion is worthless unless we know more about what YOU want.

Do you have 30 round mags from before 2000? If so, you might consider a MM or U-15 build instead of a BB. With a BB, you can't use magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds. By going the MM grip or U15 stock, you can't have any "evil features" but you can use your 30 round mags and have totally detachable magazines (no tool).

I have no pre-ban magazines unfortunately

I like the fact of keeping the pistol grip with the BB so maybe thats the way to go? Hmmmmmm.

Can anyone give me a rough estimate of how mcuh a OLL build would cost?(Basic AR platform, no RIS forarm, etc)

A lower end build could be as cheap as ~600.00 and sky is the limit if you want good stuff.

Generally, a good quality build will be 700-900 after shipping, transfer fees, taxes, etc. This price approximation does not include upgrades such as railed forends, upgraded trigger, optics, etc.
