    Savage 25 Varmint Walker.

    Folks,

Had spent some money on building up a Coyote gun in an AR platform, but with all the incompetence of some LEO and DFG officials I decided on a bolt gun. I went with the Savage 25 Varmint Walker in .223. I am going to use it for non game animals, and target practice. It offered the right combination accuracy, twist rate, a medium heavy barrel, and Savage quality.
The thought of being out near Bishop hunting yotes and having some bone head LEO/DFG giving me crap about my choice of firearms just did not appeal to me. Or having to keep some kind of paperwork such as the flow chart to educate these people on what the should know already, no thanks.
Thanks to Lolie and Chris at Addax Tactical, A2

It will be many years before the AR platform will be widely accepted as a hunting rifle, and IMO it will only become non accepted and maybe even regulated, at least here in California. Just sayin. OP, the 25 is a cool rifle by the way.
