    Which sling mount?

Which one of these is the better mount? I currently use the Magpul on a rifle that I already have but now I'm building a new one and don't really know which is better.
    Thanks

    Magpul

Are you going to change the first one to match the noveske if you decide that's the better one?

I have had both, the Magpul was easier to use, but the noise of the ring moving around annoys me. I have the Noveske one on everything now, except for the next one which will be featureless.

Which sling are you using? The MS3 with a QD I would go Noveske. MS3 with snap hook stick with magpul so you dont need to buy a qd swivel.

        Probably not.

The noise is also annoying to me which is why I think I'll try the Noveske on my new rifle.

        Thanks

I didn't realize they made sling with the QD.
That sounds like a much better rig.

I think I'll keep my current rifle how it is and buy a new slink with the QD for my new build.

          Thanks

I run the Noveske, but here is why:

I prefer my rear connection point for 2 and 1 point configurations to be on the buttstock. For me, this works much better, the weapon sits closer to my body, and it is easily deployed. There are some situations, however, where this is not feasible based on gear, and a rear receiver connection point is preferred. The noveske receiver plate makes it really easy for me to simply move the sling from buttstock to receiver.

The problem with the noveske is that often the sling gets in the way of your strong hand. The magpul is a better solution for people who run this as their norm. The noveske can also fill with dirt rendering it inoperable until cleaned.

The magpul is the better solution, however the ring rattles (not a problem for most people) and it is steel, so staking the castle nut can be quite a task.

I've been selling the Ikickhippies mount for a while now, people have really liked it.

I dont personally own an AR, so I cant say much about it.

That looks like a solid option. Has anyone used it with an Magpul MS3 sling?

Sure it would work fine. We sell them in combination with our paracord slings combined with HK hooks.

I use an ASAP , but yeah that noise is bugging the **** out of me too. I have a DD QD one that I've been wanting to swap out. Soon as I see a wrench that's cheap I probably do it, looks sweet here.
