Nemesis Arms Take Down Precision Rifle?

So I went and see Bourne Legacy, OK movie, nothing really moving, but it had this AWESOME precision rifle that he used for hunting. After research, I found out it was made by Nemesis Arms. Here is the link:

I wonder if there is any other brand of precision rifle that can be take down like that, but with a cheaper price tag? So far the only thing I know that can be take down that extensively is the AR-7...

I'd rather be at the range!

I'm not sure about other rifles like it for cheaper but I want one. I would rather have a long action model but they don't make one so I guess one in .260 Remington would have to do.

They only other rifle that I know of that's tiny and a bolt action is the DTA Covert.

Cheaper, no. That rifle started off as the EDM Arms Mini-Windrunner (a .308WIN version of the Windrunner .50BMG rifle). Bill Ritchie sold the Mini-Windrunner to Nemesis back around 2010(ish) who developed it a bit further. It's a great rifle and I loved my .408 Windrunner, but I think unless you really want that portability, there are better options.

There are a couple like the blaser r93, sig tactical 2, edm windrunner, and so on. But you're looking at $2,000-$10,000.

It's a market with limited demand, and of course a precision takedown rifle means parts that when assembled have repeatable results, that's not going to be cheap.

Yep, unless you require a take down, there are many cheap and more precise rifles out there.

Didn't you know? Calguns is the place to go for all of you takedown rifle shipping nightvision needs, lol.

OP, based on the past few couple threads it seems like you've got hollywood on the brain. That's great if you like shoveling money into a furnace but you can get things done for far less money by avoiding needless stuff like gen2-3 NV and a takedown feature that near as I can tell you'd only be buying because of the "cool factor" and not because you're going to do anything besides let it collect dust in a safe.

Sure, if you're secret squirrel super tac-ops commando guy who is going to be needing a precision rifle in the dark

I'm not saying that it's useless, but it's a matter of practicality. Unless you've got money to burn, there are plenty of cheaper options that you'd likely end up shooting far more often.

The Vanquish is a nice rifle. I've been able to hold it a few times at gun shows but haven't been able to shoot one yet.

It does disturb me that the movie portrayed it as a semi rather then a bolt gun.

Well believe it or not I was one of the first buyers of the .308 take down model that EDM Arms made for 2,500 out the door. That rifle was more accurate than what is currently offered over at Nemesis. Better barrel with 3 lands and 3 groves. I sold that gun a few years ago to fund a couple semi auto projects.

For what they are charging now for these rifles its a wonder they sell any to the public but then again its the tacticool aspect of the gun that is appealing to customers I guess.

These guns are still pretty darn accurate even if its the latest offering of Bills design. If you end up getting one just make sure to keep the threads on the muzzle break protected and never over torque it and make sure to protect the Barrel nut threads on the upper receiver.

Lol right on! I dont got the money for any of the things I like hahahaha. But calguns is a hell of a place to just go up, post something about it, then let your interest in it diminish as time goes

Ive seen people shooting colt 1911 with hammer not cocked before. Or AK shooting with nonmoving charging handles lol. I didnt even notice it was portrayed as semi, I saw that bolt charging handle and thats all I could think of.
