    can i ship rifle rounds via USPS?

    some1 told me that it was illegal just wanna make sure

    You can not ship ammo via USPS. UPS or Fedex only.
    There are no hoops to jump through. You can just write ORM-D on the side in a sharpie.
    The only hard part is that you can not drop it off at a retail location, IIRC.

      True, but I HAVE shipped through a UPS Retail Location. Then again, I'M in PA...

        really, when i called Ups they wanted me to fill out forms and pay extra money.

          why not at retail location? will they know the difference?

            "They" were wrong. Powder needs HazMat stuff and fees, small arms ammunition, does not. It needs to be labelled ORM-D.

                  My understanding is that you can't ship ammo via USPS. I've shipped ammo via ups from the ups store, having just written the Ord-M on the package. The cost was the same as any other package.

                    Read man. USPS is illegal

                      USPS flat rate box WOULD be the best deal, but it is illegal.

                      You might think a business that is going down the hole would try to expand business by accepting safe freight, but nooooooooo.
