A2 Flashider Qs

I'm planning on ordering an A2 kit from Del-Ton, but as long as I have a B-Button installed having the A2 flashider should be legal right?
I've searched the threads but all they did was make me more confused so if anyone can shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

Yes as long as its a Fixed mag configuration your good to go.

The only time you cant have a Evil Flash Hider is when you run a detachable mag build.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking especially since its mentioned in SB23 but i just wanted to make sure. No one likes getting personal visits from the feds.

What's involved in removing the "evil feature" and replacing it with a muzzle break? Where are pure muzzle breaks available?

if you want the go fast button (and the ability to use those 30 round mags you bought before the ban) you cannot have a pistol grip, or a flash hider, and just for good measure, avoid a bayonet lug.


The BB route allows you to have a rifle that looks and behaves just like a free-state AR.

DelTon is good to go in my book- I just built a rifle with their flat-top carbine kit... I got the chrome barrel option as well. The bolt catch they send might be a little wiggily in the lower though as well.

Why would you advise this? The federal AWB is dead and SB23 does not ban bayonet lugs.

You can put 50 bayonet lugs on your rifle and neither the state or federal government can do anything about it.

I have one on mine- but depending on where you are- people might think they are still illegal. Stupid- yes- but if you want to take the safest road whilst going with a given feature set it is one less thing to worry about. Its why manufacturers have pre and post ban configurations still.

I have some people I know in the LAPD that where entirely unaware of the whole bullet button universe (as of last friday). Most LEO's are not gun geeks and do not follow the these trends.
