      If you want an electronic sight I'd go with one of the smaller Eotechs, or if you want a light weight scope then an 8.5oz Weaver V3 1-3x20 is a great choice. I find that the true 1x allows me to use it with both eyes open like a sight. A QD P.E.P.R. is a nice inexpensive light weight choice. Get SWFA to price match Natchez and you'll save enough to pay for flip up caps.

            When you get it back, I'd think about possibly gluing it to the barrel nut adapter if using a front sight. The AP hanguard is pretty solid, but I don't think I'd trust just the 3 screws in the rear of it to hold it solidly enough to maintain zero.
