Regarding POF OLL

A shop I was going to place an order with told me today that the only POF oll I can get is the .308. Is that true? I thought we could buy the 415.Being that POF is OLL.

Nope. You can get the 415 or 416.

you can get the 223 lowers but some guy on gb said they quit making a certain model, not sure if its true or not.

Just thought it was strange. The shop I buy from has two or three 308's in their display. Same exact design. I just ordered a VLTOR upper and planned on matching it to a POF lower. Since they both have the same look.I guess I'll have to keep looking.

What I'm trying to find out is if they are available to calif. residence.That's what's confussing me. They are on the OLL but I'm being told you can only have the 308 version.Is this true?

Nah, not true... Plenty of places have sold POF stuff in 556. I still see them around. You just have to deal with the right people.

I've heard of a casting's type version , but I want the billet one. I have found it online but my local shop thinks it's on the watch list so he's hesitant to o.k an order.If you see one or know how I can get one let me know.

Watch list? What watch list? Me thinks this shop is trying to get you to buy the .308 they have on display (and if you're in the sf/bay area, I think I know who...). Get the one you want through Lanworld or Coldwar Shooters.
