How long can I leave "Montana X-treme 50BMG" in my bore?

I want to "seriously" clean the bore of one of my rifle. I've heard that people soak their bore with "Wipe-Out", but personally, I don't have and don't use Wipe-Out.

I do have the "Montana X-treme 50BMG" solvent, if I plug my muzzle, and just pour these to fill up my bore, how long can I soak my barrel?

I was thinking about even soaking my chamber too.

Cleaning it once and for all.

I believe Montana extreme has a high ammonia content for removing copper. I would not leave this solvent in my bore for extended periods, ESPECIALLY if it is chrome lined (then no longer than 10-15 minutes).

This goes for other ammonia solvents as well including Sweets 7.62 and Butch's bore shine, etc.

Read the instructions on the bottle, I believe it has a warning not to leave it in for extended periods.

I usually leave it for 5 minutes or so. I wouldn't want to leave it too much longer than recommended. Just soak a couple patches and run 'em down the barrel. You don't need to plug the barrel and soak it.
