Calguns Forum Help

Sorry for posting here, but I can't seem to get a hook up anyplace else.

I am trying to post a thread on the "Northern California Community Chapter" asking for a gunsmith in NorCal who works on AK47's and maybe refinishes the metal surface of the rifles. However the forum comes up and tells me that I am not authorized to post any threads there. I have PM'd one of the moderators on a couple different occassions, but can't seem to get a response. I looked at the rules and there doesn't seem to be any reason why I can't post there, unless I just didn't see it.

Can someone help me out and tell me who I need to get ahold of?

Limited posting in that forum (it's for organizing Calguns events); here in Centerfire Rifles or perhaps in General Guns is where you should post that - which you have

Welcome to CGN! You'll get some help and there are some great AK folks around here... Knowledge so deep it should come with a fee.. Good luck brother.

I don't know of anything that far north...

I know calguns user SJgunguy24 is an awesome builder of anything AK, but he is in San Jose area.

You could private message him through the link I gave you. It is under "send a message"->"Send a private message"
