That is a GREAT deal. The ARMS #18: $175, Karsten/ Rooster 33 Adj. Cheek rest: $50, Super Sniper Scope: $400-500....M1A about $1000-1200....great deal...

Word to the wise. Not to be a *** or anything. But never post up good deals that you might want to buy. Especially the website with all the info. This page has almost 100 looks at it, and I wouldnt be suprised if someone from here already snatched it up. That is a pretty good price for a Springer. Next time, just list the make of the rifle and accessories and price it is going for. That way you keep your chances of it being avaliable. Ive seen on other forums where people had cars bought out from under them by another member of the same forum.

Also, that scope is a Tasco Super Sniper 20x42. Retail is under $300.

The one listed in the auction is a Springfield Armory brand rifle from the model number. It's their standard black fiberglass stocked model. Link to Springfield site.

What's is good or bad about polytech m14? b/c the price semms to be about $800 instead of $1200 to $1300.

Through out the years and decades, Springfield Armory made SEVERAL changes on all different types of their M1As. Earlier M1As HAD chromelined barrels. Today they do not. What is also funny, sometimes you get the luck of the draw and find USGI parts on a newly purchased M1A fresh from the factory.
