Looking for a Spike's Tactical M4 flat top upper for my AR build and EVERYONE seems to be back ordered right now! Is there some sort of problem at the factory, or are they just selling faster than they can be made??

as mentioned above, they are backlogged on orders and when those dealers do get them, they sell out quick. I sold my last Spike's Upper Receiver yesterday, or the day before and have no clue when I will receive my next shipment...they kind of ship them out as they are able to fulfill orders.Comment

I was able to find a stripped spike's upper with them, which is almost impossible, along with a forward assist and dust cover. Then they did the labor for no extra charge. I got the parts in 4 days too.
They seem to have some spikes uppers in stock, not sure which one exactly you are looking for.Comment

Spikes is a very tiny company. Dont expect them to be able to produce what the big companies produce. If you want it you will just have to wait. Personally I dont see the need to wait since there are so many other good, and better brands out there. Make another selection and be happy shooting.Comment

Since no one knows the real answer it's probably because they got really popular really fast. They do make good stuff but as mentioned, there's plenty of other good brands out there.
PSA has gone form zero to hero and they can keep up with stock better despite some delays. They're the new hotness.
If Spike's could have kept up they would have kept PSA down.Comment
