I purchased a unassembled,older original HBAR from a guy the other day.It has the low profile gas block midway down the barrel and the front sight is missing,leaving the taper pin holes.It came with the rifle handguards as original.
My question is did the original front sight on these come with a locator pin to position the handguard cap,since the gas tube is in the middle of the barrel with the actual gas block.Anyone having a original style,please help.
