LWRC On The Way at Last.

After 4 months of waiting, my dealer just forwarded me an email from LWRC confirming the shipping of my rifle. Its one of the last 18" M6A3 DMR's the company will build. OD Green Cerakote.

Can't wait for it to get here. Already have 3 10/20 UBBT Magpul Mags; Leupold VX-R Patrol and mount for the shooter along with 800 rounds of M855 for her.

Pics to follow when she gets here.

Congratulations. You're getting one of the last M6A3's. I've been waiting just as long for the M6IC. I have a feeling the wait will be worth it since the TriCon I had was awesome and the IC will be even better.

Nice. If LWRC wouldn't have confirmed their willingness to build my A3, the IC was my fallback.

Not sure why they decided to do this. They did recently develop a new rifle which is the M6A5 which appears to be a hybrid between the IC and the A2 SBR. It looks like it is a limited production run at first but it might permanently replace the A3.

Congrat, I sure wouldn't mind having an LWRC. Wanna trade for my DPMS (has beautiful fit and finish)?

Could it be any clearer? Any law that infringes on our right to keep and bear arms is a violation of the Second Amendment and is unconstitutional.

yup, A5 is replacing the A3. They are also resurrecting the M6A2-Stretch for a limited run with 14.7" barrels.

Is it any better than m6a3 as in form and function? I cant seem to find any info on the a5.
From pictures i seen the only difference ic is the hand guard and the gas block which is 2 position system instead of the 4 pos. Gas sys.

Also the hg the rails r removable like the repr. Has anyone or has any experience that the rails come loose? I would assume u would have to loctite it all the time if have to take it off and on.

I wonder if anyone used the 4 gas sys all that much and thats why lwrc changed it to 2 gas sys.

I really wanted to do a build with an M6A3 DMR, but alas I must be happy with my standard M6A3.

They're moving away from the A3, because they're moving to 2-position gas blocks rather then the 4 like in the REPRs. Also moving away from the proprietary front sight since so many people have their preference on flip sights.
