Central Valley Gunsmiths!?

I'm looking for a very good gun smith near Fresno, CA to work on my Remington 700. I need my stock to be glass bed, action tried, recrown the muzzle, and tread a muzzle break and bolt handle.

Good luck, I think I would send it back to the MFG as my experiences have been most local smiths aren't Smiths! The only Smith in No CA I've ever used, was Bob Chow in SF, but doubt he's even alive anymore! You have homework to do, lots of home work...

Ya it seems like 90% of shops say they have guns smiths but then when you ask to talk to him or somthing I always here the reply....."we mail all our stuff out" wtf?! You say you have smithys on site yet you mail all guns out to be worked on? Seems like cali is losing touch with the good ol days.

You could give J&G Gunsmiths in Granite Bay a call, they are actually gunsmiths.

Kendog4570 (Calguns member) just threaded and recrowned an AR barrel for me. The flash kind of washed out the crown. It looks better in person.

I can't attest to their work but Fresno Gun Supply on Olive is strictly a gunsmith. They don't sell guns or ammo, just work on guns. But again, I have NO idea what the qualify of their work is.

Does sean also sell firearms to local L.E. as well? I think my dad gets his glocks from a visalia man named sean.
