Anyone play around with skeletonizing AR lowers?

Wondering how much weight that took off...also, seems like you might get gassed a little.

Might be sweet then if going with a piston upper, but then piston uppers usually add their own extra weight so you might not end up ahead.

You could make matching mags with Eric Holder's mugshot printed so it would look like he's behind bars for Fast n Furious.
