    MFS .223 Ammo Magnetic?

Trying to find out if anyone knows if this stuff attracts a magnet? It says zinc coated steel case and non corrosive. Palmetto has a good deal, want to make sure I can use it at Angeles if I order. Thanks

Just checked mine from my Memorial Day Sale order and the bullets are magnetic, probably bi-metal copper washed casings.

If you are willing to spend more, sgammo at the moment has 1000 rd case - 5.56 mm M193 55 grain FMJ Prvi Partizan ammo for $329.50.

The less you give a damn the happier you will be.

Yeah the MFS is a good deal if your weapon reliably shoots it and your range allows it.

PSA has PMC .223 on sale also for $6.49/box. With free shipping its a little better than the SGAmmo deal above FYI.

I bought 200 rounds during palmettos sale to try and shot it this last weekend. The stuff shot great with no FTF or FTE. It was only 200 rounds but it was good for range ammo. I shot it with my AR 7" pistol.

I really like the MFS ammo - I've shot both the 5.56 and the 7.62x39, and both are great for range ammo. Cleaner and more accurate than Wolf or Tula in my experience. I wish Big 5 hadn't cornered the market on most of it (and doubled the price), because for a while WeaponsWorld was selling it for about $110/500 for either.

Oh yeah - Angeles won't let you shoot it there. If even the case attracts a magnet it's a no-go there.

I put my wrench magnet up to them and the bullet attracts.
