Bottom Line on CA legal FALs

Okay, so I have found 3 main types of FALs out there:

    Century - questionable quality?

    Entreprise - no idea?

DSA - expensive but good quality.

Now all these are just things I've read online. I've never even seen a CA legal FAL, though I have seen quite a few real FALs abroad in my day.

I'd like to get a CA legal one, but I don't know where to start. Can someone just tell me in plain English what to look for and what to avoid and how much to expect to pay?

I have a Pacific Armament built with a mint Austrian Stg58 kit. There is a mag lock built in to the receiver. It is awesome.

Entreprise seem pretty responsive. I like the idea of being able to go to their location in person. I'm talking to them about a featureless build.

Great customer service, I had a issue with mine when I first got it 2006 I took it back and they fixed the problem very quickly. I have had to mail off guns before for repair and its a pain in the rear, if I have the choice I tend to buy local.

              Go to the FAL Files.

              Do your research.

I think you'll find Century as hit/miss, DSA good stuff (i.e., you'll get what you pay for), Entreprise hit/miss.

Based on my own experiences with Entreprise over the years, I'd definitely not consider them especially responsive. Nor would I consider their receivers to be uniform from part to part.

Someone on the FAL Files posted that Entreprise will take care of "quality" issues with their FAL's if they don't think you'll leave quietly.

Spend some time on the FAL Files...do your own due diligence.

              Plain enough English??
