My AR-15 makes loud noises, broken?

So I insert a magazine, get my target in my sights, take the safety off, and every time I pull the trigger this really REALLY loud noise happens. Is it supposed to do that? When I play CoD on my home theater system it's loud, but not as loud as my AR. I haven't heard an AR or m-16 this loud in any movies at the theater either. Is there anything I can do to fix the volume? Thanks.

Oh, btw. Is there any way to cool the brass off as it ejects? Sometimes it bounces off of the partition and hits me, kinda burns a little. I could get used to it, but if there's some kinda fan or something I could attach to that nub behind the ejection port(I assume it's for attaching things, but there's no rail section there), that would be nice.

I've heard that if you buy a Piston AR-15 it solves all these problems. What you're describing are Direct-Impingement issues.

Magazine? Brass ejecting? I think you have a problem. My ARs doesn't have mags and doesn't eject hot brass either. REALLY loud noises do come out of them when I pull the triggers though.

Yeah, but I won't have those unlocked until my bank account gains a few more levels

Move to a "friendly" state, and invest in a suppressor....

                            Consult an expert like:

He shoots 1/8" groups with iron sights and a 20" barrel which is not possible with a 16". Haha!

You generally run out of time before you run out of ammo.
