        It seems the OP doesn't quite understand how strong steel is. It's not plastic, it's not going to deform if you step on it or kick it. It's built to contain part of the blast of the .223 round, you're not going to hurt it without a couple tons of weight or a blowtorch.

          Stepping on flash hiders to disable a GIs rifle was common practice by the viet congs. Cause devastating casualties and was the main reason we withdrew from southeast Asia.
