    ACOG TA02

Nothing new, but are any current ACOG owners interested in the upcoming TA02?

Currently own a TA31-CH (Crosshair), but with multiple settings to adjust the intensity of the illumination, in addition to the ability to simply turn the illumination off, I find it somewhat appealing. More importantly, no longer being dependent on ambient conditions. I also like the forward-mounted RMR option.

However, the additional bulk associated with the dial and battery compartment is not appealing.

It's kind of odd and really goes against the KISS principles of the ACOG in general. I have a TA01 and love it - not sure when I would need to adjust the intensity of the illumination and/or turn it off. Then again, I'm not in the military and maybe that helps with NV stuff?

For those not in the know - here's a pretty picture.

Is it EMP proof like a dual-illuminated ACOG?

I took a look at it... not sure if I would consider getting one.

I find the fiber optic tube does well in all lighting conditions, and the no battery operation was one of the selling points of my TA31F...
