    BCG for AR-15

If I wanted to make my AR15's BCG duty rated or to the level that its on par with such quality what companies do you all recommend? Like Sioncis for example and so on.

            Sioncis for example...

            Do you mean this one?

If you are looking for a high-quality, durable, and economical bolt carrier group for your AR15, the SIONICS Phosphate Coated 5.56 Bolt Carrier Group is a great option. It is sure to provide years of trouble-free service.

It seems to check all the boxes and for $160 I'd rock it. As long as it plays nice with all the other components and there's enough gas it should be completely reliable for "duty."
What's wrong with the BCG that's in there now? Has it ever failed you?

"Duty rated" is just a catch phrase. If the rifle is running reliably now then why change it?

So is 'duty rated' kinda like 'aircraft grade aluminum' or 'precision surgical stainless steel'?

M16 Full-Auto rated from my understanding...heavier material in rear of the BCG

Have an armalite from 1998 still has the og bcg in it with lots of rounds through it. Haven’t changed anything in it. Just clean it here and there.

Yes thats the one. My current one is good but I'd like something NP3 coated, but to be honest I want to make upgrades thats why Im asking, even thinking of working with a 20inch barrel for more velocity.

Does coating on a BCG matter?
