can PSA PA10 (308) upper or PA65 (6.5 creedmoor) fit on a Fulton FAR-308 lower?

does a PSA (Palmetto State Armory) PA10 (308) upper or PA65 (6.5 creedmoor) fit on a Fulton Armory FAR-308 lower?
(believe it is a DPMS Gen 1 pattern lower)

verified it is a standard LR-308 Gen 1 platform lower receiver
so also want to know if anyone tried it on a DPMS lower receiver ..

    from FULTON
"I believe ours are compatible with PA-10 receivers. We use the standard LR-308 Gen 1 platform however, due to slight, and substantial differences across manufacturers, it’s impossible to know every combination that’s compatible. Some upper/lower receivers fit and function, but don’t match up well cosmetically. I always recommend using receiver sets from the same manufacturer. "

General internet answer is do not mix and match different brand of 308AR platform, upper and lower receivers. It is not likely to work even if the pins matches. There are other dimensional differences that can cause problems. Do a search on the web, and read up on the issues folks had in the past.

This doesn’t directly answer your question but is close. I have a Quentin Defense 308 lower that works with a DPMS Oracle complete upper. I later bought a PSA PA10 complete upper with the chf barrel and Midwest industry hand guard, it would fit on the lower but the bolt wouldn’t move forward, it was getting stuck around the bolt catch and magazine area like it sat too low somehow. I bought a stripped upper receiver from Fulton Armory and transferred the barrel and handguard to the Fulton upper which functions with the lower. Sold the PA10 stripped receiver, this was more than 5 years ago.

Why risk using a different brand of receiver?
          Just Get a Fulton.
it will fit and function correctly which can not be said with full confidence for any other brands.

Welp, the manufacturer (PSA) basically says NO. If anyone actually knows, it would be them. Reason they sell the lower and upper separately is not because the parts are interchangeable with other 308 platform, it is to save the consumer 11% Fed tax on complete firearm and maybe transfer fees and State taxes.

I was in the same spot years ago, wanted to add a 6.5CM into the collection. Did the research and ended up just assembled the parts myself to ensure compatibility.

I would recommend going with a lower of the same brand/manufacturer as the upper. I’ve had to modify 3 Bear Creek uppers because they came about 1/16” short of closing on PSA lowers. They “fit”, but would not close.
