FT3 Shooting Range

Haven't been to FT3 in years, but they can accommodate 5.56. Do they care if my AR's aren't exactly legal? Meaning, they are fixed, but that can easily be reversed.

IIRC, they might care as they inspect ammo and firearms upon entry 🙄

They don't allow non-brass ammo, that is it.
By far, the best indoor range in So.Cal.

If its not exactly legal you are rolling the dice brining it out in public. You never know who is in the lane next to you. Buy a fin grip for it and put it on/off when going to PUBLIC ranges.

Field Time is excellent. Nobody will say or do anything. The only thing is, don’t go n the weekend because it is an absolute ripoff. 1 hour maximum (not minimum) and I believe it’s almost $30 now. During the week that $30 gets you 2 hours.

As long as your AR's are in a legal configuration, they are legal. There is no requirement that the legal configuration be permanent. Unless you are talking about short barrels (<16") without a permanently attached muzzle brake to meet min. length.

I don't know about you guys but shooting rifles at an indoor range is not something I want to do. YMMV

I agree, but Burro Canyon is over 2 hours from me while FT3 is literally down the street. Also, Burro canyon is a madhouse on the weekends.

I would caution anyone to ensure that the firearms they are transporting be in 100% legal configuration before they leave their place of storage. Many people who get into hot water have been discovered during the transportation of illegal weapons to their various locations.
